Description A disorder characterized by an abnormal increase of cerebrospinal fluid in the ventricles of the brain. [CTCAE] Excessive accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid within the cranium which may be associated with dilation of cerebral ventricles, INTRACRANIAL HYPERTENSION; HEADACHE; lethargy; URINARY INCONTINENCE; and ATAXIA. | Enlargement of CEREBRAL VENTRICLES. Although it is often isolated without other CNS anomalies it can be associated with other congenital malformations (e.g., ARNOLD-CHIARI MALFORMATION; DANDY-WALKER MALFORMATION, and ACROCALLOSAL SYNDROME).
